American television company TWC SportsNet upgraded TV news studio with a LED-display
High-quality screen for television studio is perhaps the most important part of design, which literally creates not only the background, but the TV program also. That is why during overall modernization of its facilities TWC SportsNet Special paid special attention to this.
The new LED screen was developed by two companies: Leyard USA and Diversified Systems. The manufacturers' and installers' task was not easy: they had to produce a high-quality screen 23 by 7 feet (about 7 by 2 meters).
On October, 28 TWC SportsNet studio changed: huge LED-display, angled at 3 degrees and with a 1.6 millimeters pixel pitch was installed. Due to images's high-definition the channel broadcast can definitely move to the next level, and it is already the company's goal.
