Creating absolutely safe road conditions may seem an impossible dream. Today we are one step closer to it thanks to LED-technology.
Every driver knows that one of the most dangerous moments on the road is overtaking a truck ahead. Often, the trucks make cars queue behind them waiting for favorable overtaking conditions. With the new Samsung's project this will become much easier. Advanced technologies once again saved the day - namely, LED screens. The solution is brilliant and simple: trucks and wagons will install large LED-displays protected from external influence (dust, water, small stones - everything that can happen on the road). The front of the truck will be equipped with a video camera, which will broadcast on the LED screen the road situation in front of the truck. Thus, drivers behind the truck will be able to see the road and will understand the traffic situation and choose the best time for overtaking. Today this project remains a concept and its exact cost is unknown, but developers believe that the solution will be found - maybe quite a budget option, so that its implementation is a matter of time.
