A contest for the installation of a giant LED screen in the city of Svetlogorsk has been announced
The total cost of all work, including delivery and installation of the LED screen is 33 million rubles. According to the tender documentation all costs are incurred by the regional budget without involving investors.
The city's authorities have already announced the required parameters of the future screen: it will be 10-12 meters wide, about 7 meters high, horizontal resolution up to 2500 pixels, vertical - up to 1600 pixels. The screen should have a refresh rate of 3200 Hz and 65 frames per second.
It should be noted, that the project development began in 2009, but a year later the project was frozen, and some time later the contract with the contractor was terminated. Only in 2015 the LED screen was constructed in Svetlogorsk.
The LED-screen will be used to broadcast important events on both city and national level.
